Thanks to Alice for sharing a great and adaptable energy ball recipe!

I’ve modified the recipe below to be Nut-Free for School, but you can use any kind of nut butter as well.

The snacks are delicious – super creamy, filling and energizing.

And in case anyone needs proof that kids CAN love Nut-free & Whole Food snacks, take Victoria’s word for it!

Ingredients

1 can chickpeas, rinsed/drained
³/⁴ cup Organic Sunbutter (Or any nut butter if not taking to School)
¹/² cup hemp seeds + 1/3 cup hemp seeds to roll balls in
Handful pumpkin seeds
2 TBLS honey

Directions
Food process all ingredients till smooth. Roll into balls, then roll balls in hemp seeds. Freeze.
